The Winnipeg Wolves Basketball Club is pleased to
announce their tryout schedule for the upcoming 2014-2015 club basketball
season. Wolves team will begin holding open ID camps between Friday, August 8th
and Sunday, August 10th,
2014 at Glenlawn Collegiate.
Wolves tryouts will continue the following weekend, Friday,
August 15th to Sunday, Augst 17th at Balmoral
Hall.

Girls
Basketball Training Initiative
The Winnipeg Wolves and Next Level Hoops are proud to
announce that the Girls Basketball Training Initiative that was introduced last
season will now be available for two age groups:
- Grade 6-8 (born in between 2001-2003)
- High School (Gr. 9-12, or born between 1997-2000).
The Girls Training Initiative will operate throughout the
club season, into the spring of 2015, with an emphasis on skill development within
a team-orientated concept during the fall. The age groups may also compete as
teams in league and tournament games throughout the club season.
An open ID camp will be offered on the weekend of August
8th – 10th at Glenlawn Collegiate for any female
athletes born between 2001 – 2003 (Grades 6-8), who are interested in
participating in the program and join the team. Please see the schedule below
for the Grade 6-8 (2001-2003s) ID camp sessions.
An open ID camp will be offered on the weekend of August
15th – 17th at Balmoral Hall for any female athletes
born between 1997 – 2000 (Grades 9-12), who are interested in participating in
the program and join the team.
The first ID session for the High School (1997-2000s)
age group will be held from 6:00PM – 8:00PM on Friday, August 15th
at Balmoral Hall.
The Girls Basketball Training Initiative fee will be $800
for the entire year. The fall session will run from late-August until
early-November, in an effort to prepare athletes for their upcoming high school
basketball seasons. The spring session will start in January and continue until
May. Our training initiative will also attempt to minimize any potential
scheduling conflicts with in-season school sports and high school basketball teams.

Boys
Basketball Club Teams
For the 2014-2015 club season the Wolves will be offering
boys club teams for the following ages:
- Grade 5s & 6s (born in 2003 & 2004 or younger)
- Grade 10s (born in 1999 or younger)
- Grade 11s (born in 1998 or younger)
- Grade 12s (born in 1997 or younger)
Important Notes for All Athletes Attending Tryouts:
- There will be a charge of $25 per player, which must be paid at the initial tryout
- Please bring your own basketball
- Please bring your own water bottle
- Please bring a reversible jersey (or bring a dark-colored and light-colored shirt) to each tryout
- Please print and complete the registration form and submit it to the coaches at the initial tryout
